Doctoral Programme
PhD supervision at LISER
A number of LISER researchers are granted supervision rights (ADR) from the University of Luxembourg or from other Universities abroad.
LISER internal guidelines for appointment of supervisors are described in the LISER PhD training scheme. LISER supervisors must hold a PhD degree for at least 3 years, have a minimum of 3 publications in a recognised journal (i.e. indexed in SCOPUS) in the past 5 years, have demonstrated research supervision experience (e.g., for Master students or interns) and/or was/is the PI of a competitive research project. They must hold a work contract for the duration of the PhD.
