LISER Researcher presents at the 2017 Conference on Integrated and Sustainable Development

The International conference drew academics from across the globe

This fall, the RISC Consortium (Regional Integration and Social Cohesion) celebrated its 10 year anniversary. LISER, an institutional member, is a proud founding member of an organisation whose work supports social action projects in local communities through improved understanding of evolving political and economic context.

To mark this anniversary, LISER Researcher Dr. Franz Clément (representative to RISC), was invited to speak at the 2017 International Conference on Integrated and Sustainable Development in Aguascalientes, Mexico. During the anniversary congress, he gave a lecture entitled “Is digitalization applicable to an internationalized labour market?” as well as delivered a presentation on “Social protection and sustainability” to the doctoral school.

The consortium is managed by Professor Harlan Koff from the University of Luxembourg and Dr. Carmen Maganda, a researcher at INECOL (Instituto de Ecologia, A.C.) in Vera Cruz, Mexico.
