LISER awarded three CORE research proposals

Projects were chosen based on their innovative and high scientific quality.

21 October 2016 –  The Luxembourg National Research Fund (FNR) awarded LISER researchers three CORE research proposals.  Submitted earlier this year, the research proposals aim to strengthen the scientific quality of Luxembourg’s public research.

The proposals awarded are

“Migration duration and socio-cultural integration”

The project addresses how immigration policies and migrant length of stay affect a migrants’ social, cultural and labour market integration.
Duration: 36months

"Older workers’ employment participation: new evidence from Luxembourg”

The project addresses how to raise participation of older workers in the labour force.
Duration: 36months

“Evaluation of parental leave in Luxembourg, focus on couples’ strategies and the role of workplace characteristics”

The project aims at evaluating the effect of one of the key family-work reconciliation policies – parental leave – on the labour market supply of parents, in particular on the intensity of their labour participation in Luxembourg.
Duration: 36months
