LISER hosts a safe room to enable access for researchers to confidential microdata from the Institute for Employment Research (IAB FDZ). The available data are based on social security records from the German Federal Employment Agency plus several linked surveys. Data for both firms and workers as well as matched employer-employee data are available.

Reservation

The FDZ provides workplaces for guest researchers at different locations, including Luxembourg.

Researchers must obtain a contract (user agreement) with the Research Data Centre (FDZ) of the German Federal Employment Agency (BA) at the Institute for Employment Research (IAB) prior to making a reservation to the Luxembourg safe room.

Please note that the access to the safe room can be reserved from Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 12:00, and from 13:30 to 16:30 (only on Mondays and Wednesdays). You can book a maximum of six time slots in advance.
