The Luxembourg Institute of Socio-Economic Research (LISER) is pleased to announce the Inaugural IZA@LISER Conference in Labour Economics, which marks a new chapter for the global IZA research network, founded by the Institute of Labor Economics in Bonn and now hosted institutionally by LISER. It will bring together researchers from the IZA@LISER Network and the wider international research community to present and discuss cutting-edge work in labour economics and related fields.
We welcome submissions on a broad range of topics, including labour markets, education, family economics, gender economics, inequality, innovation, migration, and the political economy of labour-market institutions. In addition to academic sessions, the conference will include a policy roundtable co-organized by the LISER Policy Lab and its partner, J-PAL Europe, highlighting the role of evidence-based research in informing labour-market and social policies.
Keynote speakers:
Patricia Cortés (Boston University)
Benjamin Schoefer (University of California, Berkeley)
Special guest speaker: Daniel Hamermesh, University of Texas at Austin
