For the third consecutive time, LISER has won the call for tenders to become Luxembourg’s national correspondent for the European agency EUROFOUND (European Foundation for the Improvement of Living and Working Conditions), based in Dublin. This means that over the next four years, an internal LISER team will be responsible for carrying out various activities related to living and working conditions in Luxembourg.
This team includes colleagues from two departments: Living Conditions (LC) and Labour Market (LM). The members are Carole Blond-Hanten (LM), Franz Clément (LM), Gaëtan de Lanchy (LC), Kristell Leduc (LC), Nathalie Lorentz (LC), Patrick Thill (LM), and Adrien Thomas (LM). In addition, the team will benefit from the expertise of Nicole Kerschen, honorary researcher at the French National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS).
Several new developments will be introduced during the upcoming four-year period, as the team will publish articles to share information about its work and, more importantly, to disseminate information on living and working conditions that may be of interest to all LISER researchers. Collaborations with MUAR (Musée vun der Aarbecht) in Tétange-Kayl will also be strengthened with a view to organizing thematic seminars.
