Research summary
Andrea Albanese is a Research Scientist in the Labour Market department since 2016. His research interests are Labour Economics, Causal Analysis & Policy Evaluation, Labour Mobility and Sports Economics. He completed a joint PhD programme at DEFAP Graduate School of Milan (Italy) and Ghent University (Belgium) under the supervisor of Prof. L. Cappellari and Prof. B. Cockx in December 2015, with Prof. M. Lechner (University of St. Gallen) and Prof. M. Leonardi (University of Milan) in the doctoral examination committee. In 2017 he won a research grant as principal investigator of 468,000 euros funded by the Luxembourg National Research Fund (FNR - CORE Junior scheme).
