Valeurs et Cohésion Sociale (VALCOS)
VALCOS (Valeurs et Cohésion Sociale) was a research project co-funded by the Fonds National de la Recherche (FNR) in its VIVRE Programme (contract FNR/VIVRE/06/01/09)and by core funding for CEPS/INSTEAD by the Ministry of Higher education and Research of Luxembourg for the period february 2009 to january 2011. VALCOS is a research project in social sciences which uses quantitative methods of analysis. Its objective is to create a multidimensional measure of social cohesion regarding micro data and to analyse the link between values and social cohesion. The empirical application will be done on the following topics: immigration, conciliation between family and Work, Work and social justice, well-being, believes and religion.
