Abstract
The objective of the presentation is to put forward and discuss hypotheses regarding what are the core issues that urban and regional planning deals with at the crossborder level. The main idea is to identify a series of cross sectional aspects that can be characterized or conceptualized as crossborder planning regimes. There are three crossborder planning regimes that will be discussed: 1) transactional/allocative planning, 2) risk-management, and 3) production of public goods
