LISER-LAB Inaugural Workshop

LISER will organize the "LISER-LAB Inaugural Workshop" which will take place on September 15th, 2017 from 9:30am to 6:00pm, in the conference room Black Box located on the ground floor of our building.

The event will focus on research in behavioural and experimental economics, with presentations on social norms, cooperation and digitalization.

The keynote lecture will be given by Prof. Simon Gächter, University of Nottingham, at 9:30am: Revealing the Economic Consequences of Group Cohesion, co-authored with Chris Starmer and Fabio Tufano.. Prof. Gächter is a world-renowned expert in human cooperation, with publications in top journals such as Science, Nature, Econometrica and the American Economic Review. He recently completed an ERC grant investigating how incentives, social and cultural context, and gender and personality differences, shape strong reciprocity and, as a consequence, cooperation.
