Net-SILC3 International Workshop and Conference

On 18-20 April 2018, the Third Network for the Analysis of EU-SILC (Net-SILC3) will organise two events:

International Workshop on “Assessing and improving the validity and comparability of the EU-SILC income, own consumption, health and housing variables”
(18 - 19 April 2018)

and

International Conference on “Comparative EU Statistics on Income and Living Conditions”
(19 - 20 April 2018)

Net-SILC3 is funded by the Statistical Office of the European Union (Eurostat) and consists of a group of institutions and researchers using the comparative EU data source EU Statistics on Income and Living Conditions (“EU-SILC”). It brings together experts from nine European Statistical System (ESS) bodies and eight academic bodies.

The papers that will be presented at the workshop and conference are important contributions to the development of EU-SILC and the EU social indicators. They will also contribute to the wider appreciation of the uses that can be made of EU-SILC data and to the strengthening of the social dimension of the EU.

The workshop and conference will be kindly hosted by the Hellenic Statistical Authority (ELSTAT) .
