The International Microsimulation Association (IMA) will be holding its 9^th World Congress from 8 to 10 January 2024. The congress, hosted by the Austrian Institute for Economic Research (WIFO), will take place in the historic state rooms of the University of Vienna.

Participants are invited to submit their abstracts using the online registration form by 30 June 2023.

The objectives of the association are to encourage the advancement of microsimulation research and to promote cooperation between analysts, researchers, academics and practitioners from various disciplines who use or develop microsimulation models and methodologies.

LISER has been an institutional member of the IMA since 2015 (organizer, at the time, of the 5th World Congress), also playing an active role on the IMA Board of Directors.
