Upcoming Policy Round Tables of the Network of European Labour Market Research Institutes (ELMI)

ELMI constitutes a platform for the continuous exchange of ideas and researchers, with participating research institutes initiating common research projects and joint publications from various fields and disciplines of labour market research.

LISER has the pleasure to introduce you to the ELMI international research network created in 2022 by Prof. Christina Gathmann (LISER) and Prof. Bernd Fitzenberger (IAB).

The main objective of the ELMI network is to facilitate the international exchange of best practices, ideas and people. It promotes multi-disciplinary research collaborations, especially at the EU level, and the exchange of best practices in data management, data access and discussions with policy-makers and stakeholders. ELMI organises an annual conference and other regular events on labour market research in Europe.

ELMI is composed of 11 leading research institutes from all over Europe, including: the Luxembourg Institute of Socio-Economic Research (LISER), the Institute for Employment Research (IAB), the Centre de Recherche en Economie et Statistiques (CREST), the Institute for Evaluation of Labour Market and Education Policy (IFAU), the Center for Economic Research and Graduate Education (CERGE-EI), the Fundación de Estudios de Economía Aplicada (FEDEA), the Institute for Structural Research (IBS), the Research Centre for Education and the Labour market (ROA), the Institute for Fiscal Studies (IFS), the Institut des Politiques Publiques (IPP) and the VATT Institute for Economic Research (VATT).

The first international ELMI conference on digitalisation at Esch-Belval in October 2023 welcomed more than 70 researchers and practitioners.
