Launch of ‘e-SearchM’, innovative collaborative internet search tool for microsimulation
Developed by LISER, the platform will identify and make resources available to the microsimulation community
LISER is pleased to announce the release of its new innovative collaborative internet search tool for microsimulation ‘e-SearchM’ for interested researchers and stakeholders.
The objectives of this platform are to identify, and make available to the community, resources associated with microsimulations : model descriptions; tools such as development, simulation, visualization tools or relevant institutions; and events in the broad sense such as conferences, seminars or training resources.
Users accessing e-SearchM will be able to easily search for relevant information, learn more about our community's activities as well as feed the platform with new content likely to strengthen research, interactions and cooperation.
e-SearchM will be gradually populated with content from a virtually blank page thanks to contributions from its users. This content will be checked for quality and relevance through an editorial process involving LISER staff and experts nominated by the International Microsimulation Association/IMA.
More about e-SearchM
e-SearchM was developed by LISER under the direction of our researcher Philippe Liégeois. It is part of the InGRID-2 project, which has received funding from the European Union's Horizon 2020 Research and Innovation Programme under grant agreement no. 730998. More generally, e-SearchM is part of a long-term approach aimed at gradually making LISER a benchmark institution in the field of microsimulation, in particular through its participation over several years in various international projects and events and through the governance of the IMA, currently chaired by Philippe Liégeois.
