The Expert Network for Analytical Support in Social Policies (ENASSP) provides the European Commission with independent, timely and high-quality analysis on social protection, poverty and social inclusion.
From national knowledge to European evidence — and from evidence to better-informed social policy:
ENASSP has two complementary components, ESPAN and MISSOC.

Independent expertise
The European Social Policy Analysis Network mobilises national expert teams across 39 countries. It monitors reforms, assesses policy challenges and produces country-level and comparative evidence for the European Commission.
Structured information exchange
The Mutual Information Systems on Social Protection brings together governmental experts. ENASSP provides its secretariat and supports structured comparison of national social protection systems across Europe.
LISER leadership
A flagship example of the LISER Policy Lab connecting rigorous comparative evidence with public decision-making across Europe.
LISER, with Applica and the European Social Observatory, ENASSP coordinates a broad international community of social-policy specialists and turns their expertise into coherent comparative evidence. Its integration within the LISER Policy Lab strengthens the bridge between European policy analysis, stakeholder dialogue and research impact.
