Partnering with STATEC, LNDS leveraged its synthetic data factory service and expertise to generate high-quality, confidential datasets from Luxembourg’s 2021 census. Using state-of-the-art method and tool, we preserved essential data structure while minimizing disclosure risk. Our approach meets EU anonymization and statistical disclosure guidelines, unlocking new opportunities for large-scale studies on sensitive personal data. By demonstrating its feasibility and utility, this project paves the way for broader, secure initiatives.
