Advancing Health Research Leadership

We are proud to announce that Prof. Marc Suhrcke, Research Programme Leader of Health & Health Systems at LISER, has been elected to the Executive Board of EuroHealthNet alongside Dr. Bernard Wasko, Director of the NIZP PZH - PIB Polish health institute. This recognition highlights Marc’s expertise and ongoing commitment to advancing research on health and socio-economic systems. We look forward to the valuable insights and contributions he will bring to this new role.

EuroHealthNet is a not for profit partnership of organisations, agencies and statutory bodies working to contribute to a healthier Europe by promoting health and health equity between and within European countries. EuroHealthNet achieves this through its partnership framework by supporting members’ work in EU and associated states through policy and project development, networking and communications.

The network is committed to advancing health systems and societies that go beyond curative care, promoting health equity, the social determinants of health, and an ‘Economy of Wellbeing.’ By investing in health promotion and tackling inequalities, EuroHealthNet aims to build more sustainable and inclusive communities — a mission that resonates strongly with Marc’s work at LISER.
