The first Social Behavior and Experimental Economics Meeting (Social Bee Meet) will be held on January 15–16, 2026, at the Luxembourg Institute of Socio-Economic Research (LISER) in Belval. The workshop brings together researchers using experimental and behavioral methods to study individual and collective behavior, offering a platform to present new work and exchange ideas among both established and early-career scholars. This edition will also feature a special section on the use of behavioral science and experimentation in industry, with three consulting firms showcasing how behavioral insights and field experiments are applied in organizational and policy contexts.
The event will take place at LISER, located in the dynamic district of Belval. Once home to Luxembourg’s steel industry, Belval now blends architectural innovation with the preserved blast furnaces of its industrial past. This unique fusion of heritage and modern design provides an inspiring setting for vibrant discussions and collaboration.
