The first results of the European Erasmus+ project LMI4VET are now available. Launched in November 2024, the project aims to strengthen the use of labour market statistics (Labour Market Intelligence – LMI) by associations offering vocational training, helping them better adapt their training programs to labour market needs, particularly for vulnerable groups.
The initial results include an analysis of information sources on labour market needs, the findings of a survey on the use of LMI by associations providing vocational training, and a practical guide designed to help associations make better use of labour market data.
“Our project aims to help associations more easily integrate LMI into the design of their training programmes, ultimately maximizing their trainees’ chances of successfully entering the job market. This will be achieved through an interactive chatbot and engaging self-learning videos, which are currently under development.”

The project brings together ten partners from five European countries: Spain, Italy, Romania, Germany, and Luxembourg. In each country studied, it pairs an academic partner with an association providing training to vulnerable groups. For Luxembourg, LISER is paired with Digital Inclusion. This collaboration helps better identify the needs of associations, test approaches, and refine solutions, ensuring the project effectively responds to real needs on the ground.
