As part of the LISER Policy Lab’s activities, CAIPD recently carried out two missions to Praia, Cabo Verde, engaging with Luxembourg cooperation partners and national institutions. Discussions with authorities responsible for employment, vocational training, planning, and statistics focused on strengthening data systems and evaluation capacity. CAIPD is now developing a survey to study how young people engage with vocational training and what drives their participation and effort. The project aims to generate evidence that could inform future cooperation priorities, including the upcoming 6th Development Cooperation Programme, and support data-driven strategies for helping NEETs enter training and employment.
Scientific evidence from LISER underpins Luxembourg’s first National Action Plan against racism and discrimination.
